pdftk : manipulate pdf files

pdftk (pdf toolkit) is a tool for manipulating pdf files. It can be used for
  • concatenating pdf files
  • splitting files
  • update files
  • ....
It's very easy to use the tool. For example, to combine two pdf documents say part1.pdf and part2.pdf to get full.pdf just type
pdftk part1.pdf part2.pdf cat output full.pdf
